We are pleased to announce that the Institute for African Women in Law (IAWL) and the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (SAC-IAWJ) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on 11 April 2022.
SAC-IAWJ's President Justice Mandisa Maya, who also serves as the South African President of the Supreme Court of Appeal, signed to MOU with IAWL as we embark on investigating opportunities for undertaking joint projects and seeking funding thereof from external funding agencies.
SAC-IAWJ was formed in August 2004, and was formally inaugurated by the then-South African President Thabo Mbeki on 8 August 2004.
