Mission Statement
WE LEAD Experts Network is an innovative cross-sectoral network bridging the traditional professional silos between academia, the bench, the bar, and other occupations within the legal profession. This network consists of experienced women legal experts dedicated to building partnerships, advancing gender equality, and promoting women's leadership.

To harness African and Diaspora women's legal expertise for law and development by providing networking and sponsorship opportunities to advance the careers of women in law.

Who can join?

Open to persons with a law degree and working in any legal, judicial, academic, or other law-related position

Must be at least ten years after the call to the bar

Be in good standing with professional regulatory bodies

Must have a good record of professionalism

Demonstrated specializations and areas of competence in law

Be willing to engage with activities and support other women through mentoring, coaching, and advocacy campaigns
